Winter 2009 Workshop in London

Healing–A weekend workshop for anyone facing fertility losses

This workshop is for anyone who has experienced infertility, failed
fertility treatment, secondary infertility, or unwanted childlessness–whatever the cause.

The approach is holistic–activating the wisdom of the body, mind and spirit.

The goal is to work gently and creatively with fertility losses so that we do not
remain trapped in sadness, guilt, anger or confusion.

Through carefully facilitated small group work with an experienced therapist, we seek the thread of light and healing that restores balance, deepens our wisdom and mends our heart so that we can make better decisions about what path to choose for the future.

Some ‘ways in’ include guided visualisation and movement.
No prior experience of any kind is necessary.

NOTE: This workshop is now FULL (as of Jan. 26th, 2009) but there is a waiting list. If there are enough people on the waiting list, we’ll schedule another date for a similar workshop.
February 28th & March 1st 2009 (Saturday & Sunday)

10am-5.00 pm

Violet Hill Studios
St. John’s Wood, London NW8 England

Women, men and couples are welcome.
Partners are particularly encouraged to attend.
Men who find the courage to attend report great satisfaction from having done so.
(Afterwards, they urge me to get other men more involved!) That said, some male partners are reluctant and
usually there are several women attending alone.
Same sex partners welcome too, of course!

The outcome of this workshop varies. Most participants do some grieving, gain valuable insight and new perspective. The sense of isolation with the issues lifts off. Peace of mind and ease of heart are fostered. Important links are often forged within the group that frequently lead to ongoing supportive relationships of depth and value. Occasionally groups decide to do further work together with the facilitator.

  • Sometimes the workshop helps participants come to terms with childlessness.
  • Sometimes participants decide to stop further infertility treatment.
  • Sometimes couples decide to undertake more treatment–but in a different spirit.
  • Sometimes the door to adoption opens, when before it had seemed firmly closed.
  • Sometimes people realize other important work needs to be done before creating a family.

Great care is taken to create a compassionate atmosphere in which everyone feels completely safe.

Cost: £140 (£125 if booked by Jan 31st)
